Terms and conditions
These terms and conditions apply to the piano lessons of Salma Studio (Salma Rabbata), located at Laanderhof 44, 5351 CN Berghem, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) no. 42121812.

This is an English translation of the Dutch terms and conditions. In the event of any difference, the Dutch version prevails.
1. Applicability
These terms apply to all piano lessons, trial lessons, group lessons and workshops of Salma Studio, whether at my home, at the student's home or online. By registering for a trial lesson or lesson, you agree to these terms.
2. The trial lesson
A trial lesson lasts half an hour and is always free and without obligation. It creates no obligation to take out a subscription afterwards, for either party.
3. Registration and agreement
A lesson agreement is formed as soon as we agree on a regular lesson time together, usually after the trial lesson. When a minor is registered as a student, a parent or guardian agrees to these terms.
4. Lesson rates and payment
The current rates are listed on the prices page. Even with a quarterly or annual subscription you pay monthly, never the full amount upfront in one go. For lessons at home, travel costs are not included in the lesson price.
5. Notice period
A lesson subscription does not involve an annual contract. You can cancel monthly, with a notice period of one month. To cancel, send me a message by email, phone or WhatsApp.
6. Cancellations and absence
If you cancel a lesson at least 24 hours in advance, we'll reschedule it together. If you cancel later, or don't turn up without letting me know, the lesson is forfeited. If I am unable to teach myself, for example due to illness, you always get a replacement lesson or your money back.
7. Liability
I take care with the lesson environment and materials, but I am not liable for damage to property during the lesson, unless it results from intent or gross negligence. For lessons at the student's home, the student's own instrument remains the responsibility of the student or their parents.
8. Changes
I may change these terms and the rates. Changes that affect an ongoing subscription will be announced at least one month in advance.
9. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. If we can't resolve a matter between us, we will first try to settle it amicably before a dispute is brought before a court.
